Students may be administratively withdrawn from a course or their entire semester schedule for a variety of reasons. Administrative withdrawal from a course or all courses may occur as the result of violations of College policy or lack of attendance in classes. However, students are only administratively withdrawn due to lack of attendance if the instructor requests that the student be withdrawn after the student’s hours of absence exceed four times the credit hours for the course.

Students are not automatically withdrawn after exceeding the hours of absence requirement and should not assume that they have been withdrawn from the course.
