EDU 113: Introduction to Academic Inquiry

This course is designed to provide students with an opportunity to explore ways of knowing within different disciplinary contexts through critical and moral reasoning.  It provides a foundation of academic skills, knowledge, and attitudes to promote success in later course work.

FYE 105: First Year Success Seminar

Credits: 3
A seminar course which gives second-semester first year students the opportunity to further build upon the foundation of academic skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to promote success in later coursework. Students will work to explore and develop potential in areas of academic and extracurricular endeavors.
Prereq. EDU 113.

RED 101: College Reading

Credits: 3
A course designed to help students gain the skills necessary for efficient reading of college assignments. Focuses on improvement of vocabulary, comprehension, flexibility, rate, and study skills.
