The Criminal Justice Studies curriculum prepares students for entry into professional employment in corrections, law enforcement, juvenile justice, probation and parole. The Criminal Justice Studies program has a pre-law concentration for students interested in going on to law school. Students could go on to graduate studies in criminal justice.

Students who obtain the Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Studies may elect to apply for acceptance at law schools. Students should note that law schools usually require an above average grade point average and an above average score on the Law School Aptitude examination for admission.
